Hello Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians – We’ve made it through 4 weeks of the school year already!!! Please see below for important information for this week.

7th & 8th GRADE BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

Back to School night is an event designed for parents to come in and meet their child’s teachers. They’re given the opportunity to hear about what their student’s will be learning for the year. The event is for parents only and we ask that your students stay home. Your student will provide you with their schedule and you’ll follow their schedule to visit each teacher throughout the evening.

  • 7th & 8th Grade Back to School Night will be on Thursday, September 22nd from 6-8 p.m.

Satellite parking and shuttle service will be available to/from Woodbridge High School.

FREE ONLINE TUTORING

PWCS Students now have access to free, unlimited online tutoring through a new partnership with Paper. Students can get help with their homework, receive feedback on their writing assignments, or ask questions about any academic subject. Tutors are currently available 24/7 to help students in English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin. See the attached flyer for more info.

START WITH HELLO WEEK

We are in support of the Sandy Hook Promise which is meant to encourage acts of gratitude, respect and kindness. Building relationships and making positive connections is also a goal of the program. A great way to start the school year is by reminding our school community of the importance of helping everyone to feel welcomed, safe and seen. Let’s take the time the week of 9.19.22-9.23-22 to show our school community that it is important to help everyone feel included even if it takes us out of our comfort zones. Students and staff can become more familiar with each other, build stronger classroom /school relationships. Maybe even make some people smile. See attached flyer for more info.
