APPROPRIATE SCHOOL DEVICE USE
Please take a few moments to speak with your child about the appropriate use of their school-issued device. These devices are provided to support teaching and learning and should be used for educational purposes only. Using school-issued devices to access or play games that are not part of classroom instruction is a violation of the Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) Code of Behavior and the division's Acceptable Use of Technology guidelines. The Code of Behavior will be followed if a violation occurs. 

LRMS SCIENCE FAIR
Calling all innovators, curious minds, and future science leaders!  The 2026 - 2027 Science Fair is here.  Students interested should attend the interest meeting in Mr. Johnson's room after school is on Thursday, October 1st.  Students will need their own transportation home at 5pm. WOLFPACK ADVISORY COUNCIL

Our Wolfpack Advisory Council advises and monitors the implementation of the Lake Ridge Middle Continuous Improvement plan which includes the budgetary process and operational procedures as well as the academic, emotional, and social, growth of our students. Our first meeting will be September 24, 2026 through Zoom.  If you are interested in participating, please fill out this form.  Contact Mrs. Aloi at [email protected] if you have any questions.

CREDIT BY ASSESSMENT OPPORTUNITY
Students: Earn world language course credits for a language that you already speak!

Eligible PWCS students may earn up to three high school world language credits* by demonstrating their proficiency level in a language other than English on an approved external assessment. There is no cost to participate if selected for first-attempt testing. Additional attempts will be made at the expense of the student’s family.

*Credits earned may count toward a standard or advanced studies diploma. However, it is important to note that if your student attends a middle or high school with a specialty program that includes World Language coursework as a required component – such as a World Language specialty middle school program - they must still meet program-specific world language requirements that may not be fully satisfied by Credit by Assessment.

Eligible students must be a PWCS student in grade 7 OR 8. 6th graders are not eligible to apply. 

This opportunity is most valuable for students who can both speak and write proficiently in the target language. Students must be able to read, write, speak, and understand a language other than English sufficiently to demonstrate Novice High proficiency level or above. Example skills:

• Expressing, asking about, and reacting to preferences, feelings, or opinions on familiar topics in speaking and writing
• Communicating basic personal information about their life and activities in speaking and writing
• Asking and responding to simple questions on topics related to everyday life in speaking and writing
• Identifying main ideas and a few supporting details in spoken or written text

All games are anticipated to begin at 5:15 p.m. dependent upon the arrival of busses.

Student Ticket Price - $1

Senior Citizens – Free

• Tickets are CASH ONLY and exact change is strongly recommended
• School system employees with badges are FREE (PWCS, Manassas City, Manassas Park)
• PWCS has a NO BAG POLICY for indoor and outdoor sporting events.

• clear plastic diaper bags are acceptable.

• Students are to head home before returning for any events; we will not be holding book bags throughout the school year. 
• Fans should remain in the stands/bleachers and off the track for all outdoor sporting events
  • Fans can come over and watch the field events at track meets without interfering
• Good sportsmanship is the expectation for all coaches, players, and spectators at our events.

 

Monday will be an “A” day.
