Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians-  

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTS

  • 6th Grade Back to School Night will be on Tuesday, September 15th from 6-7:30 p.m.
  • 7th & 8th Grade Back to School Night will be on Thursday, September 17th from 6-7:30 p.m.

The event begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. in your student’s P1 classroom.  You will be following your student’s “A” day schedule.  The PWCS and LRMS Welcome Back and CIP PowerPoint Presentation will take place in the cafeteria at 7:25 p.m. if you would like to see it.

BOOK FAIR
The Fall Scholastic Book Fair is coming! September 14-25!   If you are interested in volunteering to help during the Book Fair, please use this link.

Families can use this link to set up e-Wallets, preview the fair, and shop online! You can also pre-order the new titles: Dog Man: A Sprinkle in Time and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Fight or Flight!  Both come out later this fall and will be delivered straight to the student’s home if pre-ordered.

Book Fair will be open 5:30 to 7:00 pm on each Back to School night. Thank you for supporting our library!

ATHLETICS
Boys' Soccer and Girls' Volleyball - Game Wednesday, September 16th starting approximately at 5:15 pm against Parkside.

Adult Ticket Price - $3

Student Ticket Price - $1

Senior Citizens – Free

  • Tickets are CASH ONLY and exact change is strongly recommended
  • School system employees with badges are FREE (PWCS, Manassas City, Manassas Park)
  • PWCS has a NO BAG POLICY for indoor and outdoor sporting events.
  • clear plastic diaper bags are acceptable.
  • Students are to head home before returning for any events; we will not be holding book bags throughout the school year. 
  • Fans should remain in the stands/bleachers and off the track for all outdoor sporting events
    • Fans can come over and watch the field events at track meets without interfering
  • Good sportsmanship is the expectation for all coaches, players, and spectators at our events.

If you are attending an Outdoor Event, you are allowed to bring a lawn chair, but we ask that you remain on the grass and not on the track. 

 

Monday will be a “B” day.
