END OF QUARTER 2 / SEMESTER 1
The last day of the 2nd marking period and 1st semester is January 22, 2026. The end of each grading period is an important time to review your student’s progress and attendance. Families are encouraged to check in on your student’s real-time grades through ParentVUE and to discuss their performance. Students and families are reminded about our late work policy and the importance of students taking advantage of retakes. New quarter classes for 6th and 7th grade students and new semester classes for 8th grade students will begin for students on January 27, 2026.
PTO SPIRIT NIGHT
The PTO has their next Spirit Night on January 14th at the Chik-Fil-A located at 4101 Old Bridge Road from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. The PTO appreciates your help in raising money to help the school. See the attachment for more details.
FAMILY TRIVIA NIGHT
We invite all LRMS parents and students to join us on Friday, January 30, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM in the school cafeteria. Please note that all students must attend with an adult. Cheese and pepperoni pizza will be served, along with sodas. We will also have prizes for the winners of Trivia Night. Please be sure to complete the RSVP form so we can order enough pizza and drinks for everyone. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing a fun evening together.

Games ticket prices, CASH ONLY, are $3 for Adults, $1 for Students, Senior Citizens are Free. Please do not have bills larger than $10 to ensure change can be given to all paying customers.
As we are closing out our Winter 1 Season, our Winter 2, Girls' Basketball and Wrestling, are getting ready to start tryouts on January 20th - January 22nd. Please make sure all information is uploaded (PWCS Athletic Physical pages 1-3) onto Arbiter before Thursday, January 15th at 8 pm to allow our Athletic Trainer time to check over your information before tryouts begin on Tuesday. If you do receive an email about missing information, please allow 48 hours for our Athletic Trainer to recheck your information and update Arbiter. Be proactive and get your Athletic Physical uploaded and Arbiter Account completed to ensure the tryout process is smooth for everyone!
