Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians-
PACK OF HOPE
We would like to give a special shout out to the National Junior Honor Society for donating over 1,000 food items to the LRMS Food Pantry - Pack of Hope. The LRMS food pantry is one of 10 pilot programs across PWCS this school year. Between the efforts of the NJHS, Prince William County Community Foundation, Capital Area Food Bank, and the LRMS staff, the Pack of Hope is able to provide essential resources and create a stronger, more caring school community. Your generosity and commitment have a made a significant difference for our students and families at LRMS.
If your family is in need of food assistance, please contact Ms. Villagomez, Parent Liaison ([email protected]) or Ms. Sweeney, School Social Worker ([email protected]), for support.
HOLIDAY SUPPORT
Mrs. Sweeney, LRMS School Social Worker, is asking for the community's help this year as we support some of our families in need during the holidays. If you would like to sponsor a child(ren)/family in need, please review the Sign-Up Genius link below. Each number represents a child/family and the items listed for each child are suggestions based on a wish list provided by the parents. Gifts are due to Mrs. Sweeney by Monday, December 15th to ensure on-time delivery before winter break. Gifts should come wrapped and labeled with the sponsor's name and gift ID (i.e., P. Sweeney, 1-A) and can be dropped off in the front office. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Sweeney directly at [email protected] or (571) 343-5748. Thank you for participating in the Season of Giving and making this a magical holiday for our students.

ATHLETICS

Boys' Basketball |
Monday, November 24 HOME vs. Parkside JV ~ 5:15 pm Varsity ~ 6:30 pm |
As we have finished the 1st Quarter, this is a reminder that any student attending after-school events must be Academically Eligible. If a student received more than 1 Failure in a class, they will not be allowed to attend an after-school event.
PWCS enacted a no-bag policy for all indoor athletic events at the middle school level. This is in alignment with the policy currently in place at all high schools. This includes backpacks, purses, camera equipment bags, etc. Small wallet-sized clutch bags, clear diaper bags, and medically necessary bags are permitted. These bags may be subject to search. This policy went into effect for indoor athletic events at all middle schools on Monday, January 10, 2022. Our school will have a plan in place to secure any student bookbags as needed during athletic events. We will not be responsible for securing bags from any attendees who are not students at our school. Signage will be posted to remind attendees prior to arriving at the ticket area. We thank you in advance for adhering to this policy and look forward to having you with us to cheer on our student-athletes.
Tickets are $3 for adults and $1 for students.
As a reminder, schools and offices are closed Wednesday through Friday, this week, for Thanksgiving Break. We hope you have a wonderful weekend filled with joy, gratitude, and thankfulness. Take this time to relax and enjoy the time with your friends and loved ones.
Monday will be a “B” Day.
