Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians-
There is no school for students on Monday, November 3rd and Tuesday, November 4th.
2ND MARKING PERIOD BEGINS
Wednesday is the beginning of the 2nd marking period. 6th and 7th grade students should check their schedules in StudentVue to ensure they go to their new quarterly encore classes. To change the focus, in both StudentVue and ParentVue, click on “Class Schedule” on the left-hand side. Then select Quarter 2 towards the top of the page.
TOUCH BASE EVENT
We will be hosting a Touchbase event on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. The event gives you an opportunity to speak with your child’s teacher(s). You will get to spend about 3-5 minutes with each teacher, but it is not designed to be a parent/teacher conference. There is no need to signup and parents will be seen on a first come first served basis.
6TH GRADE LUNCH WITH THE LIBRARIANS
Parents, if you would like to donate desserts/beverages for the 6th grade Lunch with the Librarians party please follow this link to sign up. This event is only for 6th grade students who have completed the 600 minutes Reading log and have returned it with a parent signature. Thank you for your consideration.
STUDENT PORTRAITS
School photos are now online!! Families should have received an email from Victor O’Neill Studios with an e-proof of their student’s school photo. If you haven’t received an email, make sure to check your spam folder. If you have any questions about your student's school pictures please contact [email protected]
CELL PHONES POLICY REMINDER
As we approach the end of Q1, please be reminded that under our new policy, cell phone infractions do not reset or start over for our students with the start of a new academic quarter.
WORLD FESTIVAL
Please join us in celebrating our school’s diversity at the Lake Ridge Middle School World Festival on Friday, November 14. The doors will open at 5:00 pm. This event will bring together families, students, and staff to share and appreciate diverse cultures within our community.
Throughout the evening, you will have an opportunity to connect with local organizations, enjoy cultural dance performances, and sample a variety of delicious foods from around the world. This family-centered gathering truly embodies the spirit of our community.
We would love for you to take part by hosting a table and sharing a traditional dish that represents your country, culture, or heritage. Your participation is what makes this celebration so meaningful every year! Please fill out this form to RSVP and let us know how you would like to join.
We hope our students enjoy an extra 2 days off of school and look forward to seeing everyone back on Wednesday.
Wednesday will be a “B” Day.
