END OF 1ST MARKING PERIOD
The last day of the first marking period is October 31, 2025. The end of each grading period is an important time to review your student’s progress and attendance. Families are encouraged to check in on your student’s real-time grades through ParentVUE and to discuss their performance. For 6th and 7th grade students, new quarter classes will begin for students on November 5, 2025.
TOUCH BASE EVENT
We will be hosting a Touchbase event on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. The event gives you an opportunity to speak with your child’s teacher(s). You will get to spend about 3-5 minutes with each teacher, but it is not designed to be a parent/teacher conference. There is no need to signup and parents will be seen on a first come first served basis.
CELL PHONES POLICY REMINDER
As we approach the end of Q1, please be reminded that under our new policy, cell phone infractions do not reset or start over for our students with the start of a new academic quarter.
RED RIBBON SPIRIT WEEK
Red Ribbon Week is an annual alcohol, tobacco, drug, and violence prevention campaign observed in October in the United States. It began as a tribute to DEA special agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, who was murdered in 1985, and is now the nation's largest and longest-running drug awareness program. Throughout Red Ribbon Week we will offer different activities that will be available for students as well as staff to participate in.
- Monday: Wear Red to celebrate Red Ribbon Week.
- Tuesday: Dress like a senior citizen to celebrate living a long life drug free.
- Wednesday: Wear something that represents your future after high school.
- Thursday: Wear western gear or just boots to Give Bullying the Boot.
- Friday: Dress like characters in your dreams.. book, movie, or made-up characters are welcome.
