Technology

All students have been issued a laptop, charger, and carrying case for their 1:1 devices. Please review the PWCS Parent/Student Digital Device Handbook. This handbook contains information on care and use that should be reviewed by both the parent and student. Students may need to complete a paper copy of an assignment or complete it at an alternative time.

After checking at home and with your teachers, if you still can't find them, new ones can be purchased. Students will fill out the LRMS Tech Help form and bring cash or checks (made out to LRMS). Chargers are $25 and laptop sleeves are $20.

YES! Parents/guardians have the option to purchase low-cost student device insurance through the PWCS-approved third-party vendor, Securranty. If purchased prior to damage, the insurance covers repairs or replacements for everything from broken screens, lost chargers, and accidental damage, with a zero deductible for one year on a school-issued HP device. The insurance cost is $29.95, which may be significantly less than repair or replacement costs without insurance. Please note that water damage is not covered.
