WOLF WEEKLY

January 21, 2024

Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians-  We hope you enjoyed the extended weekend and had fun playing in the snow.  We are eager to have you back tomorrow ready to learn and finish the 2nd Quarter/1st Semester strong.

TESTING THIS WEEK

Due to the school closures last week, we had to extend the Winter Virginia Growth Assessment Mathematics test.  Students will take the Mathematics test on Tuesday, January 23. Please make sure your students are prepared for testing by having their laptops fully charged upon arrival to school.  Students need to arrive to school on time so they can participate in testing. Students who arrive late, will be held in the cafeteria and will have to test during a future makeup session.

END OF 2ND MARKING PERIOD

The last day of the second marking period and first semester is January 26. The end of each grading period is an important time to review your student’s progress and attendance.  Families are encouraged to check in on your student’s real time grades through ParentVUE and to discuss their performance. New quarter and semester classes will begin for students on January 30th. Students are encourage to review their Quarter 3 or Semester 2 class schedule in StudentVue.
