Parents and guardians have the option to purchase additional low-cost student device insurance through the PWCS-approved third-party vendor, Securranty.

• Please know devices are already covered by an accidental protection plan.  This coverage would pay for lose of device and up to 2 chargers per year. The keyboard cases are not covered by warranty or securranty.  Replacement cases would have to be purchased for $120.
• The insurance cost is $29.95, which may be significantly less than repair or replacement costs without insurance.
• This year students are again responsible for bringing their devices to school every day.  We will not be issuing loaner devices or allow students to bring their chargers and cords to school to charge.  They are responsible for taking care of that at home. If their device is not available, they will be using pen and paper in class.
• Replacement costs (up to $308) for damaged or lost devices can be found in the PWCS Parent/Student Digital Device Handbook.

Insurance must be purchased within 30 days of your student receiving their device (and before any failure, damage or loss occurs to the device).
