Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians-
LOST & FOUND
Once again we have a large amount of items in our lost and found. Please have your student(s) check in the cafeteria for any clothing, lunchboxes, water bottles, etc… and in the front office for any jewelry, phones, headphones/ear buds, and keys. This will be the last week to you’re your student retrieve lost items, anything remaining unclaimed by March 7, 2025 will be bagged up and donated.
CHEER COMPETITION
LRMS Cheerleading has a competition on Saturday, March 8th! If you want to come cheer on your cheer team, buy a ticket here! Tickets are $7; doors open at 10am- we hope to see you all in those stands!!
SPIRIT WEEK
The Department of College, Career, and Student Support within our school Division is recognizing next week, 3/3-3/7, as Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Spirit week. See the attached flyer with information for each day.
CELL PHONE FREE EDUCATION STUDENT SLOGAN CONTEST
PWCS is excited to announce a slogan contest for all PWCS students grades 6-12! This contest aims to promote the benefits of a cell phone free education and encourage students to think creatively about how reducing cell phone usage can enhance their learning experience and positively impact their overall well-being. PWCS enacted a no-bag policy for all indoor athletic events at the middle school level. This is in alignment with the policy currently in place at all high schools. This includes backpacks, purses, camera equipment bags, etc. Small wallet-sized clutch bags, clear diaper bags, and medically necessary bags are permitted. These bags may be subject to search. This policy went into effect for indoor athletic events at all middle schools on Monday, January 10, 2022. Our school will have a plan in place to secure any student bookbags as needed during athletic events. We will not be responsible for securing bags from any attendees who are not students at our school. Signage will be posted to remind attendees prior to arriving at the ticket area. We thank you in advance for adhering to this policy and look forward to having you with us to cheer on our student-athletes.
Monday will be an A day.
