RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS SPIRIT WEEK
This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week. We have some spirit days that we hope everyone will participate in to show kindness.
- Inclusive Monday – Wear mismatched patters/clothing to celebrate differences
- Respect Tuesday – Twin Day-Dress like someone that you respect like a staff member or a friend.
- Caring Wednesday – Wear clothing or accessories with uplifting/positive messages.
- Responsible Thursday – Wear your favorite sports team gear to show you’re a team player.
- Courage Friday – Wear red or pink to get “red”y to make kindness the norm.
LOCKDOWN DRILL
We will be conducting a lockdown drill this week. It will only be a drill to remind students what to do in case of a real lockdown situation.
PTO
The next PTO Spirit Night will be held Wednesday, February 12 at Noodles & Company, 13900 Shoppers Best Way, from 4:00-8:00 pm. Please tell them you are with Lake Ridge Middle School PTO when you checkout. Thank you in advance!

CHEER FUNDRAISER
LRMS Cheerleading is doing a fundraiser with Little Caesars! With the Superbowl coming up, what better way to make sure everyone gets a delicious meal than to purchase a family dinner with Little Caesars?! All fundraising profits will go toward new uniforms and any other needs for the team (competition funds, poms, signs, etc). This link has instructions for picking up your order. PWCS enacted a no-bag policy for all indoor athletic events at the middle school level. This is in alignment with the policy currently in place at all high schools. This includes backpacks, purses, camera equipment bags, etc. Small wallet-sized clutch bags, clear diaper bags, and medically necessary bags are permitted. These bags may be subject to search. This policy went into effect for indoor athletic events at all middle schools on Monday, January 10, 2022. Our school will have a plan in place to secure any student bookbags as needed during athletic events. We will not be responsible for securing bags from any attendees who are not students at our school. Signage will be posted to remind attendees prior to arriving at the ticket area. We thank you in advance for adhering to this policy and look forward to having you with us to cheer on our student-athletes.
