Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians-  We’ve made it to Winter Break.  We’d like to wish you Happy Holidays and hope you enjoy the next two weeks off of school.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. VB
Mrs. VB was an integral and important member of the Lake Ridge Middle family as well as the PWCS community and will be greatly missed by all. With permission from her family, we would like to share the service information with our entire community.  The service honoring the life of Karen von Bernewitz will take place on Sunday, January 12, 2025, 3:00pm at the Aquia Harbour Inn.

MATH BOWL
The 2025 LRMS Math Bowl will be held at Lake Ridge Middle School on Monday, January 13, 2025 form 3:00-5:45pm.  The purpose of the Math Bowl is to cultivate interest in mathematics through healthy competition.  Students will have an opportunity to work on challenging middle-school level math problems both individually and as part of a team.  If you are interested in participating, please fill out the attached signup form and return it to Mrs. Heindrichs no later than Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

DIVISIONWIDE SURVEY COMING SOON
The Research, Accountability, and Strategic Planning Department developed a shorter version of the Divisionwide Climate and Culture Survey to support gathering progress monitoring data aligned with the annual Divisionwide Climate and Culture Survey. This data will provide feedback related to student’s sense of belonging at school and will be used to inform and support next steps related to school-wide initiatives, programs, and events designed to promote a positive climate and culture.

We will send out the next Wolf Weekly on Sunday, January 5th. 

 

The school building will be closed over Winter Break.
