Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians- We’ve made it to the final school week of 2024.
LOST & FOUND CLEANOUT
As we approach the Winter Break, we have accumulated a lot of clothing items in our Lost & Found. Please remind your students to look in the cafeteria for any of their lost items (clothing, shoes, water bottles, etc…) We will open up our Wolve’s Den from 3-4 pm on Wednesday, December 18 and Thursday, December 19 for students/parents to go through and look for any lost items. Anything not claimed by December 19 will be donated on the 20th.
SPIRIT WEEK
We are having one last Spirit Week for the 2024 calendar year. Let’s finish out the last week before Winter Break strong.
- Monday – Candy Cane Day: Wear Red & White, or stripes, to look like a candy cane.
- Tuesday – Character Day: Wear something that represents your favorite character.
- Wednesday – Pajamas Day: Wear your favorite pajamas.
- Thursday – Crazy Day: Wear crazy apparel or animal print.
- Friday – Festive Friday: Wear

VARSITY ONLINE TUTORING
Varsity Tutors for Schools platform is a FREE online resource for grades K-12 designed to support your students’ academic growth. This platform offers: 24/7 On-Demand Chat Tutoring, Essay Review and Coaching, Live Group Classes, Test Prep Classes, Enrichment Classes, and Celebrity-Led Star Courses and more.
How Do Student Access Varsity Tutors? Students access Varsity Tutors by logging into Clever using their PWCS email address (for example, [email protected]) and password (this is the same password students use to log into their PWCS issued device). Once logged into Clever, you can find the link for Varsity in the PWCS Resources section. LOCKERS
We will be scheduling a locker cleanout during the week of December 16-20. If your student has a locker, please make sure they clean out any trash and food that is in their locker, especially those that can rot and/or attract bugs over the long break.

Please take a moment to fill out the nomination form for the Lake Ridge Middle School Teacher or Support Employee of the Year. The form will close December 16.

Doors will open for Indoor Events at 4:50 pm. We only accept cash payments for any Lake Ridge Event. Please try to have bills no larger than $10 so we can assure that you receive change upon entering.
Adult Tickets are $3 and student Tickets are $1.
This is a friendly reminder that we have a strict No Bag Policy for indoor events; Only small wallet-sized clutch bags, clear diaper bags, and medically necessary bags are permitted.
One final reminder as we approach winter break. If you intend to pick your student up early, on any day, please ensure you are in the office by 2:30 p.m. After 2:30 p.m., we will not release any students until the building dismisses at 2:50 p.m.
Monday will be an A day.
