SPIRIT WEEK
To celebrate National Smile Day we are going to have a Smile because of Kindness Spirit Week!

• Monday: Wear Yellow for kindness and Ubiquity (presence of kindness everywhere)
• Tuesday: Wear crazy socks to respect difference
• Wednesday: Wear something to represent a school appropriate Meme that makes you smile
• Thursday: No School
• Friday: Wear smiley faces to celebrate World Smile Day

PTO

Spirit Night
The next Spirit Night will be held at MOD Pizza, 13800 Smoketown Road, on October 9 from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm. If you order online, please use the digital code MODGIVES25 at checkout. If you are ordering in person, please be sure to tell them you are with Lake Ridge Middle School PTO.

LRMS WORLD FESTIVAL
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming "LRMS World Festival"!

You can participate by decorating a table, bringing a traditional dish, or just joining in to celebrate the diversity of our school.

MATH TESTING
Fall Mathematics Virginia Growth Assessment will take place on Tuesday, October 1^st and the Make-Up Assessment will take place on Wednesday, October 2nd.  Based on General Assembly Legislation, PWCS will not participate in a Fall Reading Virginia Growth Assessment as an alternative assessment will be used in Reading which is the HMH.  Please contact our Testing Coordinator, Mr. Spironello, at [email protected] if there are any questions, comments, or concerns.

Doors will open for Indoor Events at 4:50 pm. We will start ticket taking for Outdoor events at 4:30 pm. We only accept cash payments for any Lake Ridge Event. Please try to have bills no larger than $10 so we can assure that you receive change upon entering.

Adult Tickets are $3 and student Tickets are $1. 

This is a friendly reminder that we have a strict No Bag Policy for indoor events; Only small wallet-sized clutch bags, clear diaper bags, and medically necessary bags are permitted.

As a reminder, there is no school on Thursday in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
