Martin Luther King Jr. is considered one of the greatest speakers in world history. Now it's your turn to start your speaking journey. You will need your own ride home.

ABSENCE NOTIFICATIONS

Absence Notifications for middle and high school students will be sent to parents twice daily beginning November 13.

Notifications of student absences are automated and sent as texts to parents/guardians through SchoolStatus. Elementary School absence notifications are sent between 10:20 and 10:30 a.m. each school day. Middle and High School notifications have historically been sent once a day at 7 p.m.

Effective Monday, November 13, a text notifying parents/students of their middle and high school student’s absence will go out between 10:20 and 10:30 a.m. The 7 p.m. notification will continue and include specific missed periods. This mid-morning notification will notify parents/guardians early enough to intervene if their child has missed the first block/period of the day.

HIGH SCHOOL SPECIALY PROGRAM INFORMATION NIGHTS

Specialty program information nights are held in the fall and offer an overview of each program and the application process. Program specific information nights are held at each high school.
