Good evening Lake Ridge Middle School Parents/Guardians-


SOL’S
SOL testing begins on Tuesday, May 9. Please ensure that each day your student arrives fully rested, has a completely charged laptop, and is ready to give their best effort. Also, make sure that your student has all the things they will need for the day. We cannot call students to the office, right away, to pick up items that were dropped off.

CURRENT 6TH/RISING 7TH GRADERS
The school division asked us to send an email to the families of all current 6th graders regarding immunizations for entering 7th grade. We’d like to clear up some confusion created by the message. This was meant as an early reminder that 7th grade students have a series of immunizations required for enrollment. 7th grade students must have a Tdap, Meningococcal, and HPV immunization on file by August 17, 2023. We’d like to give you ample time to work with your pediatrician’s office or pharmacy to get this done. There is no need to worry about their current enrollment in the 2022-23 school year.

BINGO NIGHT
We've rescheduled the LRMS PTO Bingo Night for Friday, May 19, 6:00-8:00 pm! Pre-registration is required, and parents/guardians must submit an electronic permission slip. You can pre-purchase food and bingo cards and fill out the permission slip here. If you would like to assist during the event or make a snack donation, please register here.

TICKETS
To make entry into our events more effective and efficient, we are asking that you bring exact change or provide bills less than, or equal to, the amount of $10. When we receive $20 or even $50 bills, it creates an issue with providing the right amount of change for everyone throughout the night and holds up our line when we need to create more change throughout the night. Adult tickets are $3 and student tickets are $1, if you have a 3rd Quarter VISA, you are free. Thank you for your consideration.

2023/2024 ELIGIBILITY
As we approach the halfway point of the 4th Quarter, this is a friendly reminder that your 4th Quarter grades affect your eligibility for the Fall Season. If you receive more than 1 Failure in a class, you will be ineligible for after-school events. Take this time to study, retake, and complete your assignments so you are eligible for Fall 2023.


Monday will be an "A" Day.
