SOL’S

As we continue with SOL testing, we ask that students walk silently through the hallways if/when testing is still in progress.  It is important that those who are still testing have a quiet environment to focus on their SOL’s.

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS SPIRIT WEEK

  • Mindful Monday:Maintaining awareness of your thoughts and feelings–mentally and physically.
  • Tuneful Tuesday:Music can be a tool that helps boost our mood! We can also “tune” into the feelings of those around us.  
  • Wellness Wednesday:Wellness is the act of practicing healthy habits daily to attain better physical and mental health.
  • (Wear Green) Mental Health Action Thursday:Take action to raise awareness about mental health by wearing green!
  • (Wear Crazy Socks) Fun Friday:Prioritizing the things that make you happy and fill and your cup.

MATH/ENGLISH TUTORING FOR 6TH GRADERS

Woodbridge Senior High School student, Zain Chaudhry, is currently in the AP Scholars program and he is offering free Math & English tutoring to 6th grade students this summer.  Sessions will be held at a public library.  Please see the attached flyer for more information and reach out to Zain directly with any questions.

BINGO NIGHT

We've rescheduled the LRMS PTO Bingo Night for Friday, May 19, 6:00-8:00 pm! Pre-registration is required, and parents/guardians must submit an electronic permission slip. You can pre-purchase food and bingo cards and fill out the permission slip here. If you would like to assist during the event or make a snack donation, please register here.

TICKETS 

To make entry into our events more effective and efficient, we are asking that you bring exact change or provide bills less than, or equal to, the amount of $10. When we receive $20 or even $50 bills, it creates an issue with providing the right amount of change for everyone throughout the night and holds up our line when we need to create more change throughout the night. Adult tickets are $3 and student tickets are $1, if you have a 3rd Quarter VISA, you are free.  Thank you for your consideration.
