Student celebrating Sinclair Elementary's 50th anniversary. The Eagles were soaring high as Sinclair Elementary School commemorated its 50th anniversary. It wasn’t just the current students celebrating, the event drew many former teachers, students, and administrators to the school.

Appealing to the diverse crowd, the Sinclair chorus sang a medley of songs from the past 50 years led by music teacher Daniel Foose. The audience enjoyed themselves as current students danced to songs from each decade of Sinclair’s history. The songs and students were introduced by former students who attended Sinclair during the decade of the song’s release.

The audience’s delight with the program was evident by the sight of them moving to the beat of the music and singing along from their chairs. “We had a great time celebrating Sinclair's 50 years,” summed up Principal Heather Goode.

Special guests included Superintendent of Schools Steven Walts, School Board Member Alyson Satterwhite (Gainesville), Associate Superintendent of Western Elementary Schools Jarcelynn Hart, Supervisor Pete Candland (Gainesville), Senator Jeremy McPike, and Delegate Danica Roem.

Congratulations on 50 years of fun, learning, and excellence. We are #PWCSProud of Sinclair and its achievements.
