ILITE Team 1885 and SuperNOVA Team 4472 win at FIRST Chesapeake District Tournament

It was an exciting weekend of robotics for two FIRST Robotics (FRC) teams from PWCS at the Chesapeake District Tournament in Bethesda, Maryland. lLITE Team 1885 from Battlefield High School and Team 4472 SuperNOVA, made up of students from Colgan, Forest Park and Woodbridge High Schools, came home big winners.

These teams, along with their alliance partners, faced off in the competition finals with ILITE edging out SuperNOVA in the deciding round to become tournament Champion.  

The accolades didn’t end there for ILITE Team 1885, who also won the prestigious Chairman's Award. This honor recognizes the team who best represents a model for other teams and best embodies the mission of FIRST.
