Welcome to 7th grade Math. Many topics this year will be new to you; therefore, it will be important for you to pay attention in class and complete the daily work assignments.   This coming spring all 7th graders will be taking a state Math SOL.  We will work hard all year so that you can be prepared and more!  Your cooperation will enable you to do your best and enjoy this learning process.

7.8 Assessment on 4/3
 a) determine the theoretical and experimental probabilities of an event; and
b) investigate and describe the difference between the experimental probability and theoretical probability of an event.

7.9 Assessment on 4/12
a) represent data in a histogram;
b) make observations and inferences about data represented in a histogram; and
c) compare histograms with the same data represented in stem-and-leaf plots, line plots, and circle graphs.
